Magazine Affiliations:  Senior video reviewer for The Perfect Vision magazine. Contributing writer since July 2001.  Contributing writer to The Absolute Sound magazine.  Prior to that, technical writer and equipment reviewer for Stereophile Guide to Home Theater.  Many years ago:  wrote StereOpus Magazine along with Thomas J. Norton, way back in 1976.  We were among the first to test and write about high-end audio components, starting just after The Absolute Sound.

Audio-Video Experience:  Service manager for Hi-Fi Buys Atlanta the first year the store opened (1974). Designed and installed large commercial sound and light systems for major nightclubs all across the country during the disco era (mid 1970s on).  Designed and installed audio-video systems for major hotels and office buildings all across the country (1980 on).  Designed and installed custom home audio-video systems for large (15,000 sq. ft. and more) homes including some of the first high-end home theater systems ever seen in the Atlanta area (From the LaserDisc era on).  Performed extensive mods (changing over 100 internal components) for audiophiles on JVC 1010 CD players which placed them sonically on a par with the most expensive transports and DACs on the market (1990-2000).
